VERIFIED TRUE – Federal Judge Rejects Lawsuit Against Fulton County (+ 6 Additional Counties) Requesting Counties Reject Hand-Delivered Absentee Ballots

5:45 PM – Absentee ballots dropped off in-person after the end of early voting will be counted after Federal Judge Stan Baker ruled against the Georgia Republican Party and the Republican National Committee (RNC) who filed a lawsuit against seven counties (Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Chatham and Athens-Clarke), alleging these counties illegally accepted ballots after the end of early voting.

Judge Baker explained that the Georgia Republican Party and the RNC confused “advance voting” with “absentee voting,” and that “reams and reams” of state and federal law explain that these are “distinct processes.”
